Our classes consist of two days on Tuesday and Wednesday or one day on Saturday.
All written materials are included.
Practice labs are offered free to students who have attended class. (A practice lab means that you will be able to practice your skills at our facility on Mondays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on your own or with another student. The instructor will be there and you will be supervised.)
The BP kit consists of a regular adult size blood pressure cuff, stethoscope and pouch
The fees for any of our classes DO NOT include the price of the State exam.
BRING: The following items with
you to the class.
- Textbook if you have one
- Dress Code: Appropriate clothing is loose fitting scrubs with a tank top or sleeveless top underneath with flat, slip on, non-skid shoes with socks.
- Do not wear open toed shoes or flip-flops or high heeled shoes.
- Do not wear jeans, tight clothes, shorts, miniskirts.
- Do not wear tight scrubs.
- Do not wear white scrubs with colorful underwear or thongs. Underwear should match you skin tone.
- Do not wear long fingernails, false nails, tips or nail polish.
- Do not wear jewelry of any kind except wedding band and watch with a second hand.
- Do not wear any facial, body or tongue piercing, earrings or toe rings.
- Do not wear perfume.
- Practice proper hygiene.
- Your manual blood pressure cuff
and stethoscope (if you have one)
- Paper, black ink pen and highlighter marking pen
- Small change for snacks
